Working sheep and poultry farm, 69 ha with modern buildings in Deux-Sèvres

In Deux-Sèvres, between bocage countryside and Gâtine, this functional agricultural complex comprises several well-maintained farm buildings. The turnkey operation includes a bergerie (sheepfold) of 400 m² built in 2004 with timber frame and steel cladding, fitted for approximately 160 sheep with storage cell, plus two automated poultry units of 880 and 900 m² controllable remotely.

The complex is completed by a 450 m² storage barn equipped with photovoltaic panels and silos with automatic distribution, as well as a former sheepfold on a second site. A borehole 40 metres deep supplies water to the main sheepfold. The land extends to approximately 69 hectares, of which 59 are leased, with around 50 hectares immediately adjacent to the buildings.

The land comprises approximately 17 hectares of cereal crops and 2 hectares of lupins. The 36 kWh photovoltaic installation provides self-consumption with surplus fed back to the grid. This operational sheep and poultry enterprise offers an excellent working tool for an agricultural succession project.
